On October 21, 2010, hundreds of Rhode Island community leaders, homeowners, business owners, and people from the preservation and conservation arenas, the building trades and more will gather at the newly restored Stanford White Casino Theatre in Newport's International Tennis Hall of Fame.  The Rhode Island Preservation Celebration salutes the positive impact preservation has on Rhode Island's communities.

One celebration highlight will be THE RHODY AWARDS, a collaboration between Preserve Rhode Island and the Rhode Island Historical Preservation & Heritage Commission, the state office for historic preservation.  Together, we will honor great preservation achievements, people who have made a difference in their community, and projects that inspire others to cherish our special places.
